Volunteers: The Life Blood of the Arkansas Foodbank

The Bryant Dance Team during a volunteer experience at Arkansas Fodbank

Volunteering is a great way to help the Arkansas Foodbank.  We have Saturday work days where up to 50 people can come and help sort, box and stack food to get it ready for delivery to our member agencies -- the food pantries, shelters, school feeding programs and soup kitches that we serve.

We also have daily need for volunteers, including general office work, filing and copying, and to work on special projects. Internships encourage young people in school to learn on-the-job skills while helping the Foodbank.

Have your church, school, business or other organization investigate the possibilities.  It's a great team building experience that helps with a cause that addresses a root cause of many societal problems.

Check out "How to Help" (left) and "Volunteer Opportunities" or read our FAQs and then sign up to work on a volunteer basis at the Arkansas Foodbank.
