The 15th Annual Golf for Food tournament benefited hungry
Arkansans through the Arkansas Foodbank.

 

 


RESULTS OF THE 15th ANNUAL GOLF FOR FOOD

Winners of the 4-person scramble format contest at Chenal Country Club on Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, were:

 

FOUNDER'S COURSE

FIRST PLACE: Farm Bureau.(Cheatwood, Duncan, Smith and Dennis)

SECOND PLACE: Arvest Bank (Fletcher, Mooty, Womack and Henry)

THIRD PLACE: Michael Johnson's team (Johnson, Kingrey, White and Walton)

 

BEAR'S DEN COURSE

FIRST PLACE: United HealthCare (Dorathy, Wedgeworth, Robbins and Barksdale)

SECOND PLACE: Malmstrom-White (Malmstrom, Roach, Yelvington and Glenn)

THIRD PLACE: Walmart, Pine Bluff (Benedetti, Benton, Coleman and Tumblin)

 

WINNER OF THE $1,000 HELICOPTER BALL DROP:  Ashlyn Holyfield

With your support, we can continue to distribute an average of 62,308 pounds of food a day to food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other vital programs in our service area. In 2010, the Arkansas Foodbank distributed 13.3 million pounds of food to hungry Arkansans.


Donations are tax deductible.


All proceeds benefit the Arkansas Foodbank and its programs.

Golf for food is organized by the Foodbank's Harvesters young professionals group
Comprised of individuals from a variety of different professional backgrounds,
including banking, healthcare, legal, accounting, education, graphic design and
more, this dynamic group shares the vision of the Arkansas Foodbank: to create
a community where no one has to go hungry.
